Over the past few years, there have been reports of similar or counterfeit products (primarily sold online) that resemble Copic in product design,
shape, and even the image evoked in promotional videos.

In addition, some products are intentionally misleading by using the Copic brand name in the product description. Some products are labeled as "Copic
compatible".

These products have nothing to do with the Copic brand.
If any damage occurs from using similar or counterfeit products, we are unable to provide customer support. To avoid purchasing these products, please
check the brand name, product name, etc.

We appreciate your understanding of this change.

■ Products subject to transition: Copic Ciao (all 180 colors and all set products including Ciao)
■ Scheduled date of implementation: Sequentially *Time will vary depending on the availability of each color.
■ The indications printed on the Ciao barrel will be changed. The major changes are as follows:

1. Labeling:
・The printing direction has been reversed from the current version. The starting point of the labeling will be changed to the Super Brush nib, so the Copic Ciao logo will not be upside down when Ciao markers are stored in their plastic case.
・The layout and size of the labeling have been changed.

2.Barrel and cap color changes:
・Cap: Changed to match the actual ink color as closely as possible.
・Barrel: Changed to a brighter color, closer to Copic Sketch.

3.Structural Improvements:
・The design of the barrel body and the inside of the cap has been improved to reduce direct contact with the nib when the cap is opened/closed.
・The design of the top of the cap has been improved to ensure safety in the event of accidental ingestion.

During the transition period to the new version, the following three types of Ciao markers with different specifications may exist on the market for the time being:

For the time being, the current markers and the renewed ones will be mixed. We ask for your kind understanding.

■ Implementation date: Sequentially starting from November onward.

・Inversion of the (front/logo?) design and references to the most frequently used Super Brush side (the opposite of the current product)
・Rearrangement of the described elements, and change to a cleaner design.
・Addition of description about product standard compliance.
